Glens Falls Residents Enjoyed the Eclipse

The solar eclipse that happened on Monday, April 8, brought scores of people coming through the area, heading north to the Adirondacks. Although we were not in the path of totality, we were incredibly close, and many chose to stay in the vicinity to enjoy the special event.

Tour of the Battenkill Is Coming Up

Tour of the Battenkill is a major springtime event in the Glens Falls area, with cyclists coming out from all over the region to compete. This year's event is slated for May 18, 2024.

Participants ride through scenic landscapes of Washington County, choosing between three courses: the 75.7-mile Gran Fondo, the 45-mile Medio Fondo, and the 24.2-mile Piccolo Fondo.
