What's New In Glens Falls

February 2013 Archives

Some major changes are planned for the 21st Annual Whipple City Days Festival, held Father's Day weekend in Greenwich, NY. Once just a local craft fair, over the years the festival has grown in popularity to include a parade; craft, commercial, and food vendors, along with games and live entertainment.

If you have a child who's in third through eighth grade and loves basketball you won't want to miss this!

The 3rd Annual 'Road To Glens Falls' Youth Basketball Clinic returns to Glens Falls High School on March 9, 2013.

The clinic is sponsored by The New York State Basketball Tournament and will feature a legendary coaching staff made up of some of the Empire State's finest basketball coaches, along with current and former college players.

a plus cleaning.jpgSince not all of us are able to juggle our jobs and countless other responsibilities AND keep a sparkling home, too, there are professional cleaning companies that come to our rescue! A Plus Cleaning is a local company with professional cleaners that can make any room, home or building so clean you could eat off the floors (not that I recommend doing so).

So when we wanted to know the good, the bad and the dirty, we knew who to ask. A Plus covers a wide span of areas, from Schroon Lake to Clifton Park. We caught up with owner Danielle Rock and asked her to confess some closely guarded secrets about home cleaning.
