The South Warren Snowmobile Club (SWSC) is very happy to announce that the 2013 snowmobile season is officially open! With all the snow that has accumulated in the Adirondacks over the last five days, the trails look great and are ready for the sleds.

Trail masters have been working to get the gates open and make sure all areas are ready for snowmobiles. Riders need to remember that this is still the first storm of the season in the Adirondacks and that grooming will be limited until we receive a few more storms.
Riders will be very eager to get back on the trails after a very dry and warm 2012 season. So far, 2013 season looks promising for the amount of snow we received before New Year's. But with all the anxious riders on the trails, you must be very cautious of others while on the trails.
SWSC President, Bob Grant, said "Please ride with caution and respect our property owners by staying on the trail system. We will be working throughout the day making sure the trails are in safe condition marking areas of danger for the safety of the snowmobilers."
