Take A Bite, the weekly celebration of Downtown Glens Falls has been going on since the middle of July, but each Wednesday it gets better and better. As Jeremy Nolin puts it, "I love walking these streets and seeing Glens Falls constantly growing and attracting many people." Nolin has first hand experience of seeing just how many Glens Falls can attract -- he's a featured performer at Take a Bite!
Nolin is a Glens Falls Native, currently involved with singing for two different local churches in the adult and contemporary choirs, occasionally singing solo.
"I love to sing all kinds of music: standards, oldies, country and much more! I have been blessed with a beautiful voice as well as having worked with a wonderful voice coach to expand my vocal abilities," Nolin explains.
The melodies of this singer add only the best notes to the already lively air at Take A Bite. Each Wednesday from 5 pm to 7 pm the city comes alive as Nolin and other performers take to the street. Local businesses offer special shopping deals and local restaurants offer special tapas menus to complete the evening.
There are only three Wednesdays left of Take a Bite this summer! If you haven't been yet this is your chance to see what the city has been buzzing about. If you have already been, we're sure you need no encouragement to head back!
