Each year during the weekend following Labor Day, Hudson Falls holds the Sandy Hill Days.

Hudson Falls, NY- This year Hudson Falls will again hold their annual celebration, the Sandy Hills Days, There will be events throughout the weekend of September 5th and 6th. It will be a celebration for the whole family, with art & crafts, entertainment, music, food, and family fun!

Events will take place in two locations: the Bazaar in Paris Park and the Zion Episcopal Church. Both locations will have a full schedule of events and entertainment! Sandy Hill Days will honor the past, celebrate the present, and look toward the future of the Village of Hudson Falls!

Friday, September 5, 2014

Zion Episcopal Church

  • 2:00 pm- Arts and Crafts Festival (featuring arts & crafts booths, exhibits, and food booths)
  • 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm - Moreau Fun Band
  • 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm - Vintage Country

Paris Park

  • 4:00 pm - Bazaar Opens (featuring food, rides, games, and fun for all)
  • 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm - Balloons by Mr. Bill

The Sandy Hill Days Committe is hoping a few more citizens will be willing to join in planning of this event. Join them the first Thursday of each month beginning in February at 7:00 p.m. and help Sandy Hill Days preserve this event.   • Post-Star Holiday Parade
    The Annual Post Star Holiday Parade will take place on the Sunday before Thanksgiving, November 23, 2014. Maintaining the tradition of being held the Sunday before Thanksgiving, the parade will begin at 1:00 p.m. and will travel north on Route 9, starting at Carriage Traders and Kingpin's Alley Family Fun Center through the village of South Glens Falls. The parade will showcase more than 110 entries which include community groups, bands, floats, marchers and costumed characters. The event concludes with a special guest, Santa Claus!

    On December 5, 2014 don't miss the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in City Park. Starting at 5:45 pm, watch as the tree is lit for the first time! You'll also get to hear carols, talk to Santa, drink hot chocolate, and enjoy fun activities!
