Exciting Live Bird of Prey programs introduce you to many of our native owls, hawks and falcons, including some of our most endangered species! This year's highlights include Adirondack Wildlife Refuge live wolf and coyote programs and Jonathan Wood’s The Raptor Project. Wood takes you on a raptor safari with the largest traveling collection of birds of prey found in the world!     The 12th Annual Tour of the Battenkill is America's largest one-day Pro/Am cycling race. Cyclists compete over 65+ miles of rolling terrain on both dirt and paved roads as they travel through the world famous Battenkill Valley. Set in early spring, the race courses includes covered bridges, family farms, and rural villages along the many challenging backcountry roads that traverse Southern Washington County, New York.

  • LARAC June Arts Festival
    The 45th Annual Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council (LARAC) June Arts Festival returns to Downtown Glens Falls' City Park on June 18 and 19, 2016. The June Arts Festival is one of the premier summer events in the southern Adirondack Region, drawing crowds of 20,000. The Festival features about 200 exhibitors offering shoppers a variety of products such as jewelry, home items, food items, fine art, textiles, garden decorations, etc- the event takes place rain or shine. The festival also includes not for profit booths, arts demonstrations, children’s activities, food concessions, and live entertainment by local musicians. The June Arts Festival is free and open to the public, 10 am-5 pm both days
