Hey foodie friends! I've been meaning to write this review for a while now. I have paid a few visits to Ambrosia Diner in Queensbury since they opened.
To anyone who works at Ambrosia Diner, I hope this explains the crazy lady you saw snapping photos of everyone's food.
Some friends an I have been on a bit of a breakfast for dinner kick lately. One Wednesday evening we decided to check out Ambrosia Diner. None of us had ever been there and we knew we could get anything on their menu 24 hours a day. So... off we went!
Thank you Jon Volks! What a great birthday lunch at the Downtown City Tavern! I'm pretty sure I ate most of this pizza. I saw the egg on top and was a bit unsure at first. One bite and I was hooked! I DO like egg on my pizza!
If you're looking for a new place to eat in Downtown Glens Falls, Downtown City Tavern is worth a try for sure!
Hey foodie friends! I recently saw that Glens Falls Region had posted this question on their Facebook page. I was intrigued because these are 2 of my favorite pizza places in Glens Falls. Both offer great pizza and more! Neither offers pizza delivery, but both are worth the drive to pick it up! Both places bring back great memories of growing up in the Glens Falls area and recent memories of pizza parties with friends & family. Lets see what the 580+ Facebook fans had to say...
There is finally a great Thai restaurant in Glens Falls! Have you heard about it? The place is called Aroydee and is located right on Ridge St. I am beyond thrilled to find this little gem, because if you know me, you know that I just loooove Thai food! The scents, the spices, ooh I could eat it every day. :)
Last week my sister and I went to check it out, and were pleasantly surprised. The food was authentic, delicious and just all around amazing. Here is what we ordered:
California Sushi Roll
Elbow macaroni, house blended cheese, smoked bacon, shredded pulled pork all drizzled with smokey house BBQ sauce. Sound delicious? It was! To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of mac and cheese, but my sister Cory ordered it. (She pretty much has to get mac and cheese every time she sees it on a menu.) Anyways, when it came I tried a bite of hers and ended up having half of it! Oh-My-Gosh. To die for. The pulled pork made it so tasty and the cheese and breadcrumbs added the perfect touch. I've never had BBQ sauce on mac and cheese before, but let me tell you it was great! A little pricey, at $16, but I have to say it was worth every penny.
