cedar-planks2.jpgI found these on sale at the market and wanted to share with you.

Soak in water for 2 hours, put on your preheated grill and make some salmon for dinner!

Place butter, fresh herbs, lemon and crushed garlic on top of the salmon. Place on the plank and close the cover. This only takes a few minutes to cook, so keep an eye on the grill.

Keep a squirt bottle near, just in case the flames kick up.

Super easy and a great way to smoke salmon.

Thumbnail image for WP_001045.jpgSuper simple and quite yummy garlic bread.

Split down the top according to the instructions. Brush some garlic oil on top and sprinkle with Romano cheese, fresh herbs and cracked pepper and bake per the instructions.

Let the bread cool for a bit. Slice in half, brush with garlic butter, sprinkle with fresh herbs and Romano cheese. Put under the broiler for a couple of minutes to toast. EASY and delicious!

crusher.jpgHey foodie friends! We have found the perfect tool for crushing tomatoes to make sauce! Thank you William Sanoma for offering this awesome gadget at a great price.

This thing suctions to the counter. You don't have to peel the tomatoes. Put them in cut in half, crank the handle and the seeds and skins are separated out, leaving you with pure tomato pulp to make sauce

Awesome find and I wanted to share it with you all.
Hey foodie friends! Hope you've been enjoying summer fun in the Glens Falls area. We certainly have. Food, friends and lots of fun for all so far!

You may have noticed that I have mentioned Goodies For Gold a few times this summer.

This past Saturday I had a chance to attend and spend some time with my friends the Dawes family and experience for myself what a cool thing it is that this family is doing to raise money and awareness for childhood cancer

All the proceeds from their lemonade stand are being donated to Relay For Life. Do you have a spare $1 and a minute to stop by and help them reach their goal of $500 by end of summer? You'll meet some great people and leave feeling GREAT!

Have you heard of Uncle Pat's General Store? They sell all sorts of delicious Adirondack pure maple syrup and honey products, all made at The Imbimbo Family Farm in Granville, NY! My friend gave me a variety of Uncle Pat's goodies the other day. Here is my review of the items included the basket.

What was included? A smorgasbord of maple goodness including pure maple syrup, a jar of honey, maple sugar cakes and maple cream filled chocolate candies!
