cowboy-caviar.jpgThe big day is almost here and your list of indulgent Super Bowl Sunday recipes is growing. How about this one from Valleri James? It's healthy, gluten free and flavorful!

It will be nice to offer a few healthy choices on Super Bowl Sunday! I love that the beans and avocado make it a real stick to your ribs snack! Try this one and let us know what you think.

Thanks for sharing Valleri! Enjoy your Super Sunday party!
buffalo-chicken-dip.jpgAlright foodie friends. I have been fighting this chicken dip recipe for years. People have been telling me about this Buffalo dip and bringing it to my parties and it honestly made me raise my eyebrows.

I broke my food rule of don't knock it until you try it for too long!

In the spirit of finding some new recipes for Super Sunday, I finally tried it at poker night last Friday! Thank you Jennifer McDonald & Doug for hosting poker night and making this for me to try.
Thumbnail image for crab-dip-chris.jpgHey foodie friends! I'm posting the Super Bowl Sunday recipe submissions individually and will do an all in one Super Sunday menu later this week. Thank you to Christine Vasiliou Zientak for this awesome submission! Chris is a die hard Baltimore fan, so the name of this recipe for crab dip is perfect!
tortellini-shrimp.jpgHappy Monday foodie friends! This is a quick meal idea and most of the items are things you can keep on hand for a simple go-to meal you can whip up without a major grocery shop. I always try to have white wine in the fridge for cooking. I don't drink white wine, so that plan works for me. Garlic, onion, olive oil and a block of Romano cheese are musts for me to have have handy. There is always pasta in our pantry and Barilla Ricotta & Spinach Tortellini is a favorite. There are usually at least a couple of varieties in the regular pasta section at the market and they can be kept in the cupboard until you need them. Large, frozen, uncooked, shell on shrimp go on sale quite often at our market. I try to keep a bag handy in the freezer. With all those things on hand, you can whip up a great dinner at a moment's notice.

crissy-spanish-chicken.jpgHey foodie friends! If you have been looking for easy chicken recipes, this low fat chicken recipe is one you need to try! This could become one of my new favorite chicken and rice recipes! Thank you Crissy D. for once again sharing with the group!

I've actually been looking for a new chicken recipe. I have a bunch of recipes for chicken breast, but honestly none of my chicken and rice recipes are low fat. The bonus here is that you can also add this to your crock pot chicken recipes collection!

Calling all cupcake lovers!

The next time you're in the mood for baking, why not try these Chocolate Cupcakes with Cream Cheese? They are just heavenly!

The combination of rich chocolate cake and cream cheese goodness comes through in every yummy bite. Mmmm. Perfect for birthday parties, dinner parties, or "just because!" Thank you to my friend Corey's mom for the recipe. :)

Hey foodie friends! I recently saw that Glens Falls Region had  posted this question on their Facebook page. I was intrigued because these are 2 of my favorite pizza places in Glens Falls. Both offer great pizza and more! Neither offers pizza delivery, but both are worth the drive to pick it up! Both places bring back great memories of growing up in the Glens Falls area and recent memories of pizza parties with friends & family. Lets see what the 580+ Facebook fans had to say...

Hey foodie friends! I originally posted this photo during the Adirondack Balloon Festival with some make-ahead meal ideas. I posted the quiche recipe then. Sorry it took me until now to get to the chicken divan!

This version of chicken divan is pretty quick, very easy & a real crowd pleasing dish! I serve it with just a simple salad on the side, but you could serve a rice dish as well.

jules-pasta.jpgHey foodie friends! This one has me so excited! My friend Jules inboxed me asking for a no mayo pasta salad recipe. This is the first one that came to mind. I sent her the recipe and she made it and sent me photos! How perfect is that?

I am so excited to take this blog in a more interactive direction in 2013! Feel free to ask for recipes, share yours or just leave a note to say hello. Happy New Year to all of our fans. You guys ROCK!
