- 1 cup of Bisquick
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups of milk
- Salt & Pepper
- Precooked fillings of your choice (seasoned to taste) & shredded cheese
Preheat oven to 400
Whisk together eggs, milk & Bisquick
Pour into a buttered pie dish
We added cooked broccoli, bacon, mushrooms & shredded cheddar
Bake until top is golden.
Test by inserting a knife in the center (if it comes out clean, it's cooked)
Let quiche cool & set before cutting
Note: The center may look a bit loose, but it will set. As long as the knife comes out clean, it's cooked.
Stay tuned for the recipe for the chicken divan!
Comfort Food For Balloon Festival Weekend
The schedule for this weekend brought to mind some quick & easy dishes that can be done the day before and reheated quickly throughout the weekend. These will cover breakfast, lunch and dinner. Just add a tossed salad to round out the meal.
We made quiche & chicken divan (recipe coming soon). I'm not a baker, so quiche that does not require me to make a crust is right up my alley.
