APPETIZER: Remoulade Sauce For Crab Cakes
It's okay to "cheat" once in a while. If you're short on time, head over to the seafood section at your local supermarket and pick up some fresh crab cakes. Top it off with this homemade mouthwatering remoulade sauce and you're good to go!

This week I'd like to share with you the way I really like to cook. I always have onion, garlic, stock, olive oil, fresh herbs from the garden and my favorite seasonings on hand. With the basics on hand you can make a great meal with just a quick trip to the store for your key menu items.

The Seven Horse Pub and Restaurant! Serving up a delicious lobster-based chowder with pulled pork and a piece of sweet cornbread to top it off, they came out as the People's Choice Winner. Absolutely dee-lish. Congratulations! Chowderfest.jpg

Before you fire up the grill, make sure it is really clean. Most of us have those wire brushes which do help a bit, but they don't get the grill totally clean.

Tip for cleaning your grill: Cut a large onion or a lemon in half. I would suggest wearing gloves if you are worried about getting dirty. Rub down your grill surface with the cut side until all the black is off. Wipe it with a paper towel and VOILA, your grill is both clean and seasoned! I tried the lemon for the first time last summer and it worked great! I'm going to try the onion next. Give it a try and let me know what you think! Feel free to share your tips & tricks too!
