  • Post-Star Holiday Parade
    The Annual Post Star Holiday Parade will take place on the Sunday before Thanksgiving, November 23, 2014. Maintaining the tradition of being held the Sunday before Thanksgiving, the parade will begin at 1:00 p.m. and will travel north on Route 9, starting at Carriage Traders and Kingpin's Alley Family Fun Center through the village of South Glens Falls. The parade will showcase more than 110 entries which include community groups, bands, floats, marchers and costumed characters. The event concludes with a special guest, Santa Claus!

    The Parade will kick-off at 5pm from Salem Art Works, winding through the Village streets and passing in front of the Judging Stand at the Village Park where Crystal Burch of Krystal’s Lyttle DJ Service will emcee the event.
