Where: Saratoga Springs History Museum, located in the Canfield Casino in Congress Park
Cost: Free
The presentation, by author David Fiske, will start with a summary of the story of Solomon Northup's kidnapping in 1841, and his subsequent enslavement and rescue. Fiske will then describe Northup's life after his return to the Saratoga/Glens Falls area. The talk will be illustrated with portraits of Northup and other figures in his story, and images of relevant documents and newspaper articles. Fiske will also make note of Saratoga locations that figured in Northup's story.

For 100 years after General Grant's death, Grant Cottage was preserved and maintained by a series of caretakers. The first two were Oliver and Martha Clarke, a husband and wife team from central New York State.

March to the beat of Fort Ticonderoga?s Fife and Drum Corps and step back in time to look at the soldiers of the American Revolution. Experience all aspects of the life of the Continental Army soldier in 1775, from their weapons to their rations, and learn about what they believed would come from their sacrifice.

The National Bottle Museum's annual fundraiser, known as The Saratoga Antique Bottle Show & Sale, will be held on Saturday, June 1st at Ballston Spa High School. This annual fund raiser benefits the museum and its programs, attracting antique bottle collectors and dealers from coast to coast in the United States.
