Wild Whiskers Beard Contest

The "Wild Whiskers" Beard Contest returns on April 8th!

Categories include:

  • Mountain Man - natural, ungroomed & full
  • Resting Beard Face - full beard
  • Not Fully Committed - partial beard
  • Mustache You A Question - upper lip only
  • Whiskerina - faux beard
  • New this year, "Biggest Beard from Scratch" - must provide photo of being clean shaven as of March 8th

Points are awarded for awesomeness and creativity. 

Contest entry fee includes admission, two free drinks and additonal products. Contestants are encouraged to preregister and submit photos that will be posted on the Wild Whiskers page of the Chapman Website. Judging starts at 6 pm. Two prizes, winner and runner-up, will be awarded in each category. 

Event will include beer and soda provided by Lake George Brewing Company, food and music. A guided brewery tour will take place at 7 pm. Beard products will be available from regional vendors. A professional barber and tattoo artists will be on hand to provide trims and shaves, and tattoos.  

Admission to the event is $5, and includes one free drink. 

Proceeds benefit the Chapman Museum of Glens Falls.
