Warrensburgh Beautification Inc. (WBI) will host its Annual Spring Membership Meeting & Presentation on Thursday evening, May 4th at The Glen Lodge Bed & Breakfast located at the Glen on Route 28 in Warrensburgh. Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m., Pot Luck Dinner and Business Meeting at 6 p.m. and Presentation at 7 p.m. In celebration of Cinco de Mayo we will have a Mexican theme!
Our guest speaker, Sawyer Bailey, is the Executive Director of AdkAction and has significant experience and expertise in local food systems and access in rural communities, environmental justice, community engagement, land conservation, and working with organizations and communities across the Adirondack Park. The presentation will give an overview of their many projects, while focusing on their Adirondack Pollinator Project, with a goal to ensure a future where pollinators thrive, native habitat abounds, and Adirondack residents and visitors are engaged pollinator advocates.
All are welcome to attend and encouraged to bring friends.
