24th Annual Million Dollar Duck Race

Glens Falls NY - You may not be able to afford a horse to race at Saratoga Race Course this season, but you can buy another animal, for much less, that will put you in the running to win some big bucks!

That’s right – the 24th Annual Million Dollar Duck Race and Family Fun Day is July 26, 2014. You can buy a rubber duckie for $5 and watch it race through Haviland Cove to the finish line. The fastest little duckie will win $2014 and if it is one of the pre-selected million-dollar ducks, the lucky ticket holder wins one million!

From 11 am to 2 pm, there will be lots of family and children’s activities for Family Fun Day:  music, pony rides, face painting, a bounce house, old-fashioned yard games, police vehicles and fire trucks, a corn box, craft activities and piñatas. Make sure to check out the NEW Ride for 2014:The Roaming Railroad, a trackless train that provides free rides around the park!

Apart from the grand prize, other ducks that place can win more cash prizes and other great prizes for their lucky ticket holders. If you can't make the date, prizes are still awarded to absentees.

Kiwanis Duck Race

The Annual Million Dollar Duck Race is sponsored by the Glens Falls Kiwanis Club each year and raises funds for participating non-profits.

The Duck Race is organized by the Kiwanis Club to benefit five area non-profit organizations and the Glens Falls Kiwanis Club Foundation.  The organizations include Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Southern Adirondacks, Greater Glens Falls Senior Center, Warren Washington CARE Center, Moreau Community Center and CWI.   The Foundation provides college scholarships to area Key Club members who actively volunteer in their communities.

Get Your Duckie!
