As part of Hometown Holidays, Downtown Glens Falls businesses will have refreshments and festive fun activities on Friday, December 4th! The streets will be filled with families enjoying entertainment -- like carolers, live reindeer, and even Saxophone Santa!

See the full schedule and venue map >>

The Tree Lighting With Santa kicks off the evening at 5:45 pm! Gather in City Park along the Bay Street side of the library and enjoy holiday music provided by Mike DuBray from Regional Radio Group and the Glens Falls Community Theatre carolers.

After The Tree Lighting

The Hometown Holiday offers a cornucopia of free holiday-centered activities, sights, sounds and tastes throughout the downtown area!

The Collaborative will provide maps at the tree lighting and in downtown shops showing the locations for each of these incredible holiday attractions.

People can also stop by the “Glens Falls Gift Back” in the Community Room of the Crandall Library to make a meaningful gift in the name of a friend or loved one.

  • Adirondack Theatre Festival: Home
Katherine escaped from her small Texas home and her hypochondriac mother 9 years ago. When she finally steps back into her childhood home, Katherine is immediately overwhelmed by the familiar. Every room seems to have a story. Every corner of the house holds another recollection. Katherine’s memories become so vivid, in fact, they appear to come alive before her eyes. Both humorous and heartbreaking, HOME explores parenting and childhood with unflinching honesty, questioning what it means to grow older, and whether we truly have the capacity to grow up.
