On December 5, 2014 don't miss the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in City Park! The tree lighting will be followed by holiday events and family fun throughout Downtown Glens Falls!

The community is encouraged to gather at 5:45 pm in City Park along the Bay Street side of Crandall Library for the official tree lighting. Music from the Glens Falls Community Theatre Carolers, greetings from the Mayor, the lighting of the new Glens Falls Holiday Tree and the arrival of Santa will kick off the 2014 Hometown Holiday event.

Once the tree is lit, Santa will arrive and greet the crowd before heading off to Glens Falls National Bank where he will eagerly hear the Christmas wishes of local children.

After the tree lighting:

The Hometown Holiday offers a cornucopia of free holiday-centered activities, sights, sounds, and tastes throughout the downtown area.  The Collaborative will provide maps at the tree lighting and in downtown shops showing the locations for each of these incredible holiday attractions.
