The Port Henry Office of Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Company will offer free document shredding and a chance to visit with Santa during its Community Appreciation Day on Monday, November 27.

The event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 4307 Main Street in Port Henry will feature food and a visit from Santa. In addition, the Moriah Police Department will provide free fingerprinting and car seat safety checks from 10 a.m. to noon, and Adirondack Mobile Shredding will be on hand to offer free shredding of confidential documents from noon to 2 p.m.

The public is encouraged to donate a nonperishable food item to support the Moriah Food Pantry, or a toy to support the Ladies Auxiliary's Local Toys for Kids program. All customers who bring a donation will be entered into drawings for various prizes.

The Port Henry Office is among many Glens Falls National locations hosting Community Appreciation Days this year. The events are meant to show the Bank's appreciation for its neighbors, while assisting local causes.
