25th Annual North Country Festival of Trees

Kick off the holiday season and start getting in the spirit at The North Country Festival of Trees, held annually at the Queensbury Hotel in Glens Falls.

This year's festival takes place December 1-4, 2016. Come immerse yourself in a wonderland of holiday decorations. See beautifully decorated trees, wreaths, stockings, gingerbread houses and more from local artisans.

The Festival of Trees will be open to the public at the following times:

  • Thursday, December 1 - 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
  • Saturday, December 3 - 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
  • Sunday, December 4 - 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

There will also be special events going on all week, taking place inside the Festival of Trees. 

Special Events

Holiday Luncheon - Thursday, December 1 at 12:00 pm
Jingle Bell Jubilee - Friday, December 2 from 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Breakfast with Santa - Saturday and Sunday, December 3 & 4 at 8:00 am
Sugar Plum Ball - Saturday, December 3 from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Special event prices vary. Admission to the Festival is $7 for Adults, $5 for Senior Citizens, and $3 for Children (12 and under).

Proceeds raised from the event will benefit the Prospect Center, a non-profit agency for children and adults with developmental disabilities.

  • The Rotary 5K & Corporate Challenge
    Calling on all runners and walkers! The Glens Falls Rotary annually hosts a 5K road race in April each year. The race is held at the SUNY Adirondack campus on Bay Road in Queensbury, and the course is mostly flat and fast with just one small hill. This year the club has selected the Chapman Historical Museum and the Greater Glens Falls Senior Citizen Center to be the beneficiaries of the event.
