The Southern Adirondack Tobacco-Free Coalition (SATFC) is a grassroots coalition of local agencies & individuals working together to reduce the prevalence of tobacco use, and to promote healthy communities.

SATFC serves Saratoga, Warren and Washington counties of New York State.  The Coalition is funded by the New York State Department of Health Tobacco Control Program.

The Coalition works on 3 main initiatives:

  • Decrease the amount of tobacco marketing and advertising aimed directly at youth.
  • Create tobacco-free grounds for businesses and municipalities.
  • Assist landlords and property managers in smoke free housing policies in multi-unit dwellings.
