A dining experience that rivals the great outdoors!  Our log cabin is the perfect place to enjoy an intimate dinner in front of  one of three fireplaces, or for that special occassion for large groups.  Private rooms and special menus are available for groups up to 60 people.   We take great pride in everything we serve from our unique sandwiches at lunch, where our turkey and roast beef are roasted daily in house, to a variety of specialty breads and dressings that will spice up any sandwich.  At dinner we serve some of the area's best prime rib daily.  We hand cut all our steaks, always have fresh lamb chops, chicken and pork dishes to choose from. We also have a lobster tank with live lobsters, and a variety of fresh seafood to choose from: maple dijon salmon, shrimp scampi, and broiled scallops are a few of our more popular seafood items.    We are probably best known for our 40 item bountiful salad bar that comes with all of our lunch and dinner entrees.  All of our salads and dressings are homemade, and our cinnamon raisin bread is a perennial favorite.

Our lounge is cozy, with an extensive wine and beer list, specialty martinis and happy hour Mon-Fri from 4:00-6:00pm.

We pride ourselves on being friendly and accommadating.  There is also a childrens menu.

We take special pride in any customers dietary needs whether it be allergies or our wide variety of gluten free items.

Best restaurant in the Lake George area, hands down!!!! Visit 4-5 times a year.... Just came up for winter carnival ...
I work in the restaurant business so its nice to be able to be served a great meal & appreciate & enjoy the experience.
Everyone at the Log Jam is friendly & courteous.. We always enjoy a drink in the bar around the fire in the winter and even when it's the spring or summer before we sit for our dinner. The salad bar always has fresh ingredients with a great selection. The dinners have NEVER been disappointing in any way, always had an amazing time & an amazing meal.
..this is why people eat out, to enjoy each others company all while having a great dinner & a great experience. Thank you to the staff for always welcoming us and making our belly's full! Oh, and there's not one time we would not order the toll house pie dessert, it's to die for! Thanks again! See you in June for Americade!

We treated our son to dinner at the log jam on 08/14/12 and the meal was very expensive and very disappointing...I had checked the website before going, and what was offered on the website, was not on the menu...I ordered the broiled sea scallops with rice for 27.00. when they dish arrived, the scallops were not broiled, were in pieces and did not have any seasoning or flavor. My husband and son ordered the surf and turf (prime rib with broiled sea scallops) at 36.00. and received 4 large sea scallops with seasoning...will not visit the place again and would not recommend to friends.

Best steak in town. We Love our two favorite waiters John and Todd who always make our dining experience a great one. You also can't beat the large salad bar with delicious breads they offer. Been going there for years and will continue to. Keep up the good work Log Jam. Sincerely Bob P.
