Halloween Hall

HALLOWEEN HALL PAST AND PRESENT

Halloween Hall had its start in 1981. This was only through the insistence of friends of ours from another state who had an established Halloween season besides their very succcessful party goods store.

In that era it was difficult to purchase goods because there were no established showings of merchandise by vendors. So our friends escorted us all over New York City to buy goods and they did most of the buying for us since we had no idea what to purchase.

We than asked Curtis Lumber if we could rent a small log cabin next to their store,which today is the site of a small breakfast and lunch establishment, and we moved into very tight quarters to begin our first Halloween and that was thirty years ago this September. Halloween Hall was a temporary store at the time and Halloween Hall was operated on Route 67 at that location for two seasons.

We made a decision in 1983 to move it to our warehouse location on the same Route 67 just a mile from the log cabin in Curtis Industrial Park. We had been in this location since 1978 operating our other business Myers Fun Services. It provides games,booths,prizes and inflatbles to schools,churches,and other organizations for fund raising as well as corporate events.

We turned a part of the warehouse into a temporary store for Halloween Hall during the 1983 to 1986 season. Then in 1986 we decided to make a permanent ALL YEAR ROUND STORE and added additional space to the rear of the original building to accommodate the other business and remodeled 2800 square feet for Halloween Hall. The 1986 season was the beginning of a year round store for costumes,accessories and wigs as well as party goods for every season and the rental of tables and chairs and even several medium sized tents.

Today Halloween Hall provides a convenient place year round for all your party goods needs besides a huge selection of wigs which are sold year round as well as make-up. Halloween Hall is also the place to shop for your child's needs when a class project involves dressing up as a famous historical character. Halloween Hall has costume rentals for Santa,Easter bunny and other costumes to purchase or rent for adult theme parties. Halloween Hall also has a great selection of masks. It is a MUST SEE PLACE.

We never anticipated the excitement and frenzy generated by this type of store. The excitement is not limited to the Halloween season but prevails the year round. This is why we say "YOU SHOULD HAVE COME HERE FIRST." Halloween Hall has it all and we have A thirty year history to prove it.
