Gurney Lane Pool is just 15 minutes south of Lake George and is part of Queensbury's Gurney Lane Recreation Area.

The facility features a large swimming pool with a diving well and slide, as well as a shallow area that's great for young children and beginning swimmers. There is also a bath house, concession area, lounge chairs, picnic tables, and an open-air pavilion.

Children 5 & older and adults: $5
Children under 5 and seniors (60+): Free

The Gurney Lane Recreation Area is located just off Exit 20 of the Adirondack Northway (I-87). In addition to the pool, the park features a playground area, basketball court, multi-use trails, and a pond for youth fishing.

Pool Hours: June 23 - September 5

Opening Thursday, June 23 at 12:00 pm until 7:00 pm

June 27 - August 19, open daily from 1:20 pm - 7:00 pm. Weekends and holidays (including 6/25-26 & 8/20-21), 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm

August 22 - September 5, open 11:00 am - 6:00 pm

Winter Fun:

Tucked amid the wooded hills, this town park is set on a 100-acre parcel run by the Queensbury Parks and Recreation Department.  The Gurney Lane Recreation Area has something for everyone when it comes to winter fun! Some of the activities available during the winter months:

  • Groomed and color-coded trails for cross country skiing and snowshoeing, available from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekends and during school recesses.
  • Hills for sledding
  • Ice skating rink at Gurney Lane is open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekends.
