Crandall Park in Glens Falls NY is a popular spot for residents of all ages! From recreation to stunning scenery Glens Falls' Crandall Park has it all. Crandall Park is located off Glen Street and Fire Road in Glens Falls NY.
Picnic, fish or skate at Crandall Park Pond. With a manmade fountain as well as three bridges connecting to the pond's islands, enjoy a scenic backdrop for a picnic or photos. Looking to go fishing? Each year in May the pond is stocked with fish for an annual fishing derby. In the winter when the pond freezes it is plowed for ice skating and hockey!
Located next to Cole's Woods Ski trails and the Glens Falls YMCA, Crandall Park is a hub for Glens Falls recreation. Crandall Park has multi-use fields for soccer, baseball, softball and lacrosse. Anyone can use the tennis courts and practice wall for a match as well as the basketball courts for pick up games. In the winter, Crandall Park has one of the best sledding hills around. After sledding warm up in the Crandall park warming hut which also has bathrooms!
Crandall Park playground is a favorite gathering spot for many children. From slides to swings, kids love it. The park surrounding the playground has a gazebo and charcoal grills to make dinner or hold an event. The park has an amphitheater regularly featuring live bands, fun events and even the Glens Falls Symphony Orchestra.
Discover historical monuments located in Crandall Park. The Peace and Victory Monument as well as the Korean Veterans Memorial are war monuments that can be found in the park. Both monuments are tribute to local soldiers that lost their lives while serving our country.
Directions to Crandall Park in Queensbury from Exit 19: Crandall Park is located adjacent to the YMCA immediately south of the Y. To get there from Exit 19, head east on Aviation Road (NY 254) to Upper Glen Street, take a right on to Upper Glen Street and continue .8 miles to Fire Road. You can turn in at Fire Road and take your first left into the park or continue on Upper Glen to the next entrance.

- The Rotary 5K & Corporate Challenge
Calling on all runners and walkers! The Glens Falls Rotary annually hosts a 5K road race in April each year. The race is held at the SUNY Adirondack campus on Bay Road in Queensbury, and the course is mostly flat and fast with just one small hill. This year the club has selected the Chapman Historical Museum and the Greater Glens Falls Senior Citizen Center to be the beneficiaries of the event.
