The Village of South Glens Falls NY: A Close-Knit Community in Upstate NY

South Glens Falls is most well noted for Cooper's Cave, a historic location and scene from James Fenimore Cooper's 1800's novel, "The Last of the Mohicans." Today South Glens Falls NY has become a hub for families looking for a tight knit community conveniently located near Glens Falls, Lake George and Saratoga Springs!

South Glens Falls prides itself on family values, top-notch schooling and community involvement. Events such as the annual Marathon Dance at South Glens Falls High School has raised over a million dollars to benefit local charities.   • Adirondack Theatre Festival: Cabaret - Jeremy Schonfeld
    Join Jeremy by his piano for an intimate and entertaining evening of his critically-acclaimed music. Singer-songwriter-composer-lyricist, Jeremy Schonfeld’s singular blend of tuneful pop, hard-edged rock, gospel, soul and blues has drawn him comparisons to Billy Joel and Jonathan Larson in the New York Times, and has made him one of today’s most sought after singer/songwriter talents and musical theater composers. His latest album, Iron & Coal, was produced in Vienna and nominated by the 2013 Amadeus Austrian Music Awards for best production, sound, and editing. Critics hailed it as “a world-class record that defies expectations. As a solo performer he’s been seen at Madison Square Garden, The Public Theatre, Birdland, Ars Nova, BB King’s, Lincoln Center, Juilliard Opera Theatre, and as an opening act for James Taylor (among others).     It’s about time kids get to have the same amount of fun in a theater that adults do! A revolutionary idea, the PB&J Café will give young theatre-goers the opportunity to order a meal from the cast of characters, participate in an art activity, dine during the live musical theatre performance, and come home with autographs from their favorite actors. THE SHOW: There are two sides to every story. Now the long-suppressed account of the Big, Bad Wolf is finally brought to light in Piggsylvania’s Trial of the Century, where the audience acts as the jury to decide the Wolf’s fate. Parents and children will delight in this music-filled adventure where the audience decides who really is to blame.
