Glens Falls NY has become one of America's greatest small cities! According to Glens Falls History the City of Glens Falls was officially established in 1908. Glens Falls NY offers friendly neighborhoods, a strong regional presence in the areas of business, tourism, technology and the arts as well as a reputation for a safe community.

Glens Falls NY is home to many successful corporations including Boston Scientific, Angiodynamics, and Finch-Pruyn Paper Company. The area also has a plethora of smaller companies and unique local businesses. Glens Falls Hospital, a leader in Warren County and beyond for medical care, employs hundreds and most recently completed a state-of-the-art addition.

Stay busy in Glens Falls - there's plenty to do! Visit the many restaurants, shops and museums. You can also visit the local dinner theatre or revamped Crandall Library. Popular events like the Adirondack Balloon Festival in September, Larac Arts Festival in June and Glens Falls Civic Center concerts, Adirondack Phantom hockey games and shows draw many to Glens Falls.

Anyone can use the trails in Crandall Park and Cole's Woods for running, skiing or walking. Nearby, Queensbury and Lake George offer many lakes, streams and beaches with easy access to water for swimming.

    Calling on all runners and walkers! The Glens Falls Rotary annually hosts a 5K road race in April each year. The race is held at the SUNY Adirondack campus on Bay Road in Queensbury, and the course is mostly flat and fast with just one small hill. This year the club has selected the Chapman Historical Museum and the Greater Glens Falls Senior Citizen Center to be the beneficiaries of the event.
